Account and Data Deletion Policy
In line with Google Play and Apple expectations, this page explains account deletion in Gayret and the web-based request method.
Subscription check
Users with an active premium subscription should cancel or manage their subscription in the relevant store before deleting their account.
In-app deletion steps
• Open the profile or settings area.
• Open the "Delete Account" option under account settings.
• Complete the security verification and confirm the deletion request.
• After confirmation, the session is closed and the deletion process begins.
Deletion request via web
• The user can submit a request to the support team using the email format on the Contacto page.
• The request should include the email address or username associated with the account.
What happens after deletion?
✓ Can be removed immediately: active sessions, profile visibility, push token, device links and app access records.
✓ May be removed later: backups, caches, background queues and distributed storage copies.
✓ May be retained for legal reasons: payment records, tax documents, security logs and official request records.
✓ Personal notes, reminders or usage records are deleted or anonymized unless a legal obligation requires retention.
